MEET SHERRY — Founder and Director of Good Huis Co. With a background in the fashion industry, she spent much of her career in retail buying, product sourcing, and management. Over the years, she's also pursued her passion for hands-on DIY renovations, having renovated several homes and even designed her own from the ground up.

Good Huis Co. is where Sherry brings together the creative and analytical sides of her brain — blending art, science, and problem-solving to create thoughtful, functional interiors. Her Dutch heritage (the "huis" in our name nods to her mum’s family, who migrated to Geelong in search of a better life) inspires our ethos: a mindful approach to living — buy better, buy less, choose quality.

MEET MIENNA - she studied a Bachelor of Fashion and Textile Merchandising at RMIT, where her love for all things design first began to flourish. She kicked off her career at Myer as a merchandiser and, over three years, rose to become a Senior Stylist and Team Leader of the Visual Merchandise Team. Along the way, she renovated two homes, and discovered a passion for interior styling and all things design.

For the past 2.5 years, she’s been bringing her eye for style and merchandising to the Good Huis Co team. Mienna’s signature look leans into a neutral palette that’s easy on the eye.

MEET HANNAH - She studied fashion design, textiles, merchandising and marketing before carving out a dynamic career across product development in accessories and kidswear, trend forecasting for kids and menswear, and later as a womenswear buyer and designer. After travelling, having a baby, and launching her own kidswear label (in her so-called "spare time"), Hannah now brings her eye for colour, texture and playful detail to Good Huis Co. She’s a firm believer that clashing prints are friends, not foes, and her warm, joy-filled style makes spaces feel as welcoming as she is.

Interior Styling Service

We know that interior styling can feel overwhelming and time-consuming. It is often the last piece of the design puzzle and relies on creating cohesion between the interior design and your personal taste. Our team, lead by Sherry, has a wealth of experience overseeing numerous interior styling projects, renovations, and direct collaboration with furniture and interior suppliers, we have the expertise and industry knowledge to guide you through your next interior project - big or small. Our extensive catalogue provides a rich resource for inspiration, and we are passionate about curating beautiful rooms and homes through styling.

Consult

After an initial 30 min consultation (complimentary) we meet with you on-site to review the architecture of your home. Our Good Huis Co Stylist will consider space, colour and materiality, your existing pieces or wish list, and goals for the liveability of your home.

Our Process

Concept

A design concept is developed with your aesthetic and liveability goals in mind. Your stylist will curate a furniture, accessories and art selection in line with your lifestyle and personal aesthetic. We source outside of our Good Huis Co collection to ensure the concept fits your brief. After meeting with your stylist in-store we provide you the final design in moodboard format and a recommended shopping list of soft furnishings, accessories, furniture, lighting and art.

Our Process

Delivery

Once happy with your selection, we will coordinate purchases with deliveries and assembly to your home. Your stylist can meet on-site to oversee the installation and ensure accessories and artwork are placed to achieve maximum effect. Note delivery and assembly fees are quoted additionally.

  • Absolutely! We love hearing your ideas. To ensure we create a cohesive design, we ask that you share a few key images that best represent your vision. This helps us focus on what matters most to you.

  • At Good Huis Co, we tailor our designs to complement your space. If you have existing pieces you'd like to keep, we’ll seamlessly incorporate them into the overall design.

  • We aim to present your concept within 5-7 business days. For larger projects (3+ rooms), we may require longer to ensure all details including colour swatches are considered. If you're looking to design more than one room, we'll ask for confirmation on the first room's order before moving forward with additional spaces.

  • Your stylist will present a concept board along with a curated shopping list. From there, you can make adjustments and select items as you see fit. Plus, if you choose to order through Good Huis Co, you'll benefit from exclusive discounts.

  • Our focus is on furniture and homeware, but we always consider wall and floor finishes when creating your concept. We arrange colour samples where required to ensure the furniture and homewares finishes will be aligned with your style and overall design vision.

  • Tier 1 Room Service $299 per room includes: Onsite consultation (<35km), Concept moodboard, Colour palette selections, Styling selections, Detailed, itemised quote.

    Tier 2 Premium Service $599 per room includes: Onsite consultation (<35km), Concept moodboard, Custom fabrics and materials selection, Spatial planning, Furniture and styling selections, In-studio design presentation, Ordering and logistics management, On-site installation and styling of each room. 

    Tier 3 Custom Interior Design - Quote provided on request. Onsite consultation (<35km), Concept moodboard, Custom fabrics and materials selection, Spatial planning, Furniture and styling selections, Interior fixtures and finishes selection, In-studio design presentation, Ordering and logistics management, On-site installation and styling of each room. 

  • During the consultation, your stylist will discuss your project timeline and any deadlines. Once the order is confirmed, we’ll ensure that delivery aligns with your preferred move-in date. Good Huis Co can either manage to hold dispatch from our suppliers, or we can hold your order with prior arrangement.

  • Good Huis Co offers various delivery services, with the option for assembly included. Depending on your location, we’ll provide the right delivery solution, including assembly and disposal of packaging. If you choose our premium styling service, our team coordinates all furniture assembly upon delivery, and we’ll also style your decor items in their designated spots to bring your vision to life.

  • At this time, Good Huis Co does not offer removal of existing furniture as part of our delivery service.

  • Our stylists are dedicated to providing high-quality, stylish pieces. While we primarily specify products from our own range, if we find something better suited to your project from another supplier, we’ll make recommendations that complement your design vision.
