The inspiration for this first collection comes from my childhood memories, especially of my Mum, a Dutch immigrant who never threw anything away. Growing up, she worked as a machinist in garment factories and was an avid patchworker, saving even the smallest fabric scraps to create something new. As kids, we wore her patchwork creations—think 80's pastel tracksuits and jackets. With that spirit of resourcefulness in mind, our Soul Collection aims for zero waste by using the entire width of the fabric, with even the offcuts patched together for our bolster and patched cushions.
